Overview
TrivTime collects only the information needed to operate the game, authenticate players, record match outcomes, protect the service, and improve reliability.
Information we collect
We may collect the following categories of information:
- Account information such as email address, user identifier, and display name.
- Authentication details returned by sign-in providers you choose to use.
- Gameplay data such as match participation, answers, wins, losses, rank, and related statistics.
- Question reports you submit, including the reason and any notes you add.
- Limited technical information our backend receives when your device connects, such as IP address and request logs, used to keep the service secure and reliable.
- Support communications that you send to us.
TrivTime does not include third-party analytics, advertising, or crash-reporting software, and we do not track you across other apps or websites.
What other players can see
If you create an account by signing in, your display name and your win and loss record are published to the global leaderboard, where they are visible to everyone who uses TrivTime. Your display name is also shown to your opponent during a match.
Your email address, your sign-in identifier, and your individual answers are never shown to other players.
If you play as a guest without signing in, no display name or profile is created for you, and your results are never added to the leaderboard. Signing in is what makes your name and record public, and you can request deletion of your account and its leaderboard entry at any time.

These providers process data on our behalf according to their own terms and privacy commitments.
